Britain's Got Talent star Amanda Holden has joked she's going to bribe Simon Cowell to keep her on the show by naming him the godfather to her baby! Speaking to The Sun today, Amanda admitted was hoping to stay on the show next year.
It comes following rumours that both David Hasselhoff and Michael McIntyre could be given the sack after failing to connect with acts.
Amanda however wanted them to stay, she said: "I'm so fond of The Hoff. I'd like to see him stay, he's quirky, he's 'Hoff the wall' as he says.
"He's in his own little world but in lots of ways he's absolutely brilliant. Just give him a bit more time."
Revealing her own intentions, Amanda explained: "Simon is the ultimate godfather. I'm going to make Simon godfather so I don't get the sack from Britain's Got Talent.
"I've been told my seat is safe but the dates may clash. But we'll work something out. I've been told by all the right people I'm safe on it.
"They'll work round me. What kind of man would he be to sack a pregnant woman? I could probably sue him, couldn't I?"
Applications for Britain's Got Talent 2012 are now open.
