Airing Saturday nights on ITV, Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions has welcomed back acts from the past 13 years of BGT.

They’re going head to head with acts from Got Talent series across the world to be crowned the ultimate champion.

Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon make up the judging panel for the special season.

Speaking about filming the show earlier this year, Amanda spilled: “We always are naughty anyway but this time Simon did pull us all aside before we went out on the first night and just said, ‘This is going to be great, have fun and be free to misbehave!’

“I love that the boss tells us all to have fun and get up to mischief on the panel. He’s always encouraged us to be our true selves and I am always obliging whether he really wants it or not!”

It seems as though David needed little encouragement to cause mischief.

Simon said: “David is David! He just loves being the centre of attention. He’s like all comics, you know, they live for that attention. You’ll never ever change him. As annoying as he is if he wasn’t there, I think you’d miss him.

“But you know what? Even if he’s got the golden buzzer he’s parading up and down in front of the audience and I’m like, ‘When you press your Golden Buzzer it doesn’t mean it’s for you, you give somebody else the attention,’ which he just doesn’t understand because it’s always all about him!”

Meanwhile, Alesha says she’s “loved every second” of filming.

“To be honest the weirdest part for me was being away from the show and then going in to what effectively felt like the live semi finals. It felt like I’ve bunked off half the series and missed the auditions!” she shared.

Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions continues at 8:30PM this Saturday night.
