Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions started last weekend, welcoming acts from the past 13 years of BGT as well as Got Talent shows across the world.

They’re all going head to head to be crowned the ultimate champion and walk away with the cash prize and coveted Champions Trophy.

This Saturday night sees the second heat as nine more acts face off for a place in the grand final.

One of the acts we meet is British comedian and ventriloquist Paul Zerdin.

Despite being from the UK, Paul actually rose to fame on America’s Got Talent.

He won the US version of the show in 2015, winning the $1 million prize.

Appearing on Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions this weekend, Paul and his friend Sam start by taking a cheeky swipe at David Walliams which you can watch in the preview above.

In the heats, two acts will make it through to the final.

Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams as well as hosts Ant and Dec will each pick one act via the golden buzzer, while an audience vote will decide the second.

The first episode saw Ukrainian sand artist Kseniya Simonova win the Golden Buzzer from Amanda while American daredevil duo Bello and Annaliese Nock won the superfan vote.

Alongside Paul, acts appearing this week include the first comedian to ever win BGT, Lost Voice Guy, together with Alesha’s golden buzzer from series 11, dance group Mersey Girls and series 5 winner, singer Jai McDowall.

We also welcome back choir 100 Voices of Gospel and acrobatic duo Gao Lin & Liu Xin.
