Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions follows the success of a similar American show which aired on TV in the States – and on Netflix here in the UK – earlier in 2019.

The special season will feature acts from the past 13 series of Britain’s Got Talent returning to the stage.

They’ll compete head to head with not only one another but also against other acts from Got Talent shows from the world to find the Ultimate Champion.

Britain’s Got Talent Champions start date

ITV has today confirmed that Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions will begin on Saturday, August 31 at 8PM.

Judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams – return to the panel as they take their seat ready to be impressed by a whole host of global talent.

Joining them will also be the nation’s favourite presenting duo, Ant and Dec.

Airing over six weeks, each episode will see a number of acts go head to head with two making it through to the grand finale – the first is a Golden Buzzer act chosen by one of the judges or Ant and Dec while the second is voted through by superfans in the arena audience.

Across the series, audiences can expect to see the return of BGT winners including Paul Potts, George Sampson, Richard Jones and Collabro as well as some of the show’s other most memorable acts including Stavros Flatley and Twist and Pulse.

International acts set to wow the audience include Ukrainian sand artist, Kseniya Simonova; Danger act, Deadly Games; Alexa Lauenburger and her incredible dogs; and what could be the most terrifying performer yet, The Sacred Riana.
