Britain's Got Talent's all stars Champions series is on its way with a start date confirmed for August on ITV.

ITV has unveiled a first trailer (below) ahead of the new six-week long series.

Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and David Walliams reunite on the panel while Ant and Dec host.

The special season, sponsored by Marks And Spencer, will feature acts from the past 13 series of Britain's Got Talent returning to the stage to be named Ultimate Champion.

They'll compete head to head with not only one another but also against other acts from Got Talent shows from across the world.

Britain's Got Talent: The Champions starts on Saturday, August 31 and will run weekly for six episodes.

Acts rumoured to be competing include dancing storm-troopers Boogie Storm, Series 1 champ Paul Potts and comedians Daliso Chaponda, Jack Carroll and Lost Voice Guy.

More contestants are tipped to be singer Connie Talbot, who first appeared on BGT's first series when she was 6, Stavros Flatley, 2014 winners Collabro, sword-swallower Alex Magala and dance act Merseygirls.

Also rumoured are dancer 2008 winner George Sampson, 2016 winner Richard Jones, 2011 champion Jai McDowall, dance duo Twist and Pulse and singing pair Bars and Melody.

Meanwhile international acts are rumoured to include ventriloquist Paul Zerdin, sand performance artist Kseniya Simonova, Danger act, Deadly Games; Alexa Lauenburger and her incredible dogs; and what could be the most terrifying performer yet, The Sacred Riana.

In each episode, two acts will make it through to the grand finale – the first is a Golden Buzzer act chosen by one of the judges or Ant and Dec while the second is voted through by superfans in the arena audience.
