There is a new favourite to win Britain's Got Talent 2018 ahead of Sunday's final.
Britain’s Got Talent has it’s finalists after acrobatic act the Giang Brothers and comedic singer Micky P Kerr were the final two confirmed following the fifth semi-final on Friday.
Despite Giang Brothers winning the public vote on Friday they are outsiders for the title at 20/1, alongside wartime choir The D-Day Darlings.
Micky P Kerr, who secured his place in the final as a result of the judge’s vote, is in with a shot of going all the way and taking the title at the shorter odds of 9/1 having been 28/1 before his performance.
However the one to beat is none other than Comedian Robert White. White is now the sole favourite to win on Sunday night after his odds drastically shortened in from 33/1.
Initially Robert shared 7/4 favouritism with Lost Voice Guy, but the 41-year-old took over the head of the betting as Lost Voice Guy suffered yet another drift and now lies second in the betting at 15/8.
Aoife Heffron, Spokesperson for BoyleSports commented: “Robert White now holds the top spot in the betting after Lost Voice Guy’s odds were eased out yet again. Robert’s popularity with punters continuse and we can see his 7/4 odds shortening ahead of the final.”
She added “Lost Voice Guy went from 12/1 to win before his semi-final win on Monday night to the 6/4 favourite, but as more acts secured their spots in the final, punters began to look elsewhere for value and he has drifted back out to 15/8 and lost his position as the favourite to win.
"Either way the betting suggests that a comedic act will win Britain’s Got Talent for the first time on Sunday.”
