Britain's Got Talent 2018: Ant and Dec are the last to hit the golden buzzer

Britain's Got Talent 2015 behind the scenes - Ant and Dec

Ant and Dec are the last to hit their golden buzzer on Britain's Got Talent 2018.

The new series of the show is currently filming its auditions, ahead of airing on TV later this year.

The Britain's Got Talent judges for 2018 remain the same with Simon back alongside Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon for the 12th series.

The line up of judges are unchanged for a sixth year having proved a hit since first coming together in 2012.

Alongside the judges, Ant and Dec return to host.

As always, a varied and hopefully talented bunch of acts will go before the panel at the auditions. They'll need to get at least three yesses to make it to the next round and be in with the chance of performing live later this year.

The golden buzzer twist sees five lucky acts go straight into the live shows from the auditions. Each judge plus presenters Ant and Dec can only use it once throughout the try outs.

Following try outs in both London and Blackpool, all four judges have chosen their acts.

But Ant and Dec have yet to use the button, as auditions head to Manchester this week.

According to The Sun newspaper, Simon hit the golden buzzer for a young duo.

However he supposedly was left unhappy after discovering one of the pair had already appeared on The Voice Kids last year.

A source told the tabloid: "It was a bit of a downer that he had already found fame on another talent show. Luckily, it was a different type of act, so fans of The Voice are unlikely to recognise him.”

Meanwhile, the first golden buzzer of Britain's Got Talent 2018 was given out by Amanda last month, doing so in the first week of auditions at Blackpool.

According to the Daily Mirror, Amanda hit her golden buzzer for a male singer who had a "SuBo moment."
