Britain's Got Talent pays touching tribute to victims of Manchester terror attack

Britain's Got Talent 2017 last night paid tribute to the victims of the Manchester terror attack.

22 people were killed and many more injured in a suicide bomb attack at Manchester Arena following a concert last Monday.

Last night's BGT saw the final round of auditions taking place in the city, with a love heart superimposed behind the location on screen.

"It really made me smile that BGT put a heart around Manchester's name❤️ #BGT" one viewer wrote watching the episode.

Another tweeted: "Nice subtle touch putting a heart behind Manchester #BGT."

Meanwhile, Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden wrote: "Broken hearted for Manchester. My thoughts and prayers go out to all those poor families affected #Manchester 💔"

And show boss Simon Cowell added: "My thoughts, love and prayers go out to everyone affected by the tragedy in Manchester.

"These innocent people who lost their lives will never be forgotten. Stay strong Manchester."

Following the end of the auditions, BGT now goes liver over the next week.

The Britain's Got Talent 2017 live shows air from Monday, May 29 until Friday, June 2.

The semi-finals will air from 7:30PM on ITV with a group contestants performing each evening and two acts will make it through.

The ten finalists will then go head to head in the grand finale next SUNDAY night, June 4.
