Alesha Dixon has promised the Britain's Got Talent 2017 live shows will be "bigger, better, crazier and noisier" than ever beforre

This year will see Britain's Got Talent moving to a brand new home for its semi-finals with the revamped set unveiled at the weekend.

Bigger than the show's former studio, it's the first time since the very original series that BGT has had such a big makeover.

Speaking ahead of tonight's live performances, Alesha said: "I love the fact our shows come around for one week and it’s a real event – the whole nation gets involved and behind it.

"It feels brilliant, and I’m feeling positive that it’s going to be bigger, better, crazier and noisier than it’s ever been.”

Speaking to the Daily Express newspaper, Alesha continued: “I’m most looking forward to all the golden buzzer acts and seeing how they perform.

“By the time we see the acts again in the live shows, they’ve grown so much and when they get the production behind them and their outfits sorted, the live shows are so exciting.

“They are the icing on the cake."

Meanwhile, Alesha spilled on life backstage and insisted there never any rows between the panel despite disagreements on screen.

“The banter is brilliant; if something feels good, it feels good, we all like each other and have fun. That’s what makes it special," Alesha said.

The Britain's Got Talent 2017 live shows air from Monday, May 29 until Friday, June 2.

The semi-finals will air from 7:30PM on ITV with a group of contestants performing each evening and two acts will make it through.

The ten finalists will then go head to head in the grand finale next SUNDAY night, June 4.
