Britain's Got Talent's Kyle Tomlinson was "terrified" of facing David Walliams again

Britain's Got Talent's Kyle Tomlinson has admitted he was "terrified" of facing David Walliams again.

In Sunday night's episode we saw Kyle return to the show and end up with a golden buzzer from David Walliams.

Kyle began by telling the panel how he first auditioned two years ago, but was harshly told to "get a singing teacher" by David.

"Me? Doesn't sound like the kind of sensible thing I'd say!" the funnyman laughed.

Having worked hard to hone his craft, Kyle sang 'Hallelujah' for his big comeback - and this time David rewarded the 15-year-old with his Golden Buzzer, sending Kyle straight through to the live shows.

"You sang with passion," he said. "I'm really glad you came back and proved me wrong."

Speaking about his audition this week, Kyle recalled: "I was terrified! Just simply because he turned me down last time, so I felt like I really had to impress him and the Judges more than ever.”

He reacted to getting the golden buzzer from David: “I thought, ‘Is he serious?’ I didn’t know what to do. I saw my mum and dad run onto the stage and thought, ‘This is going to change my life forever’.

“It’s mental to think that out of the millions, I’m one of the five that have got the Golden Buzzer. Wow!”

Now Kyle has a confirmed place in the live semi-finals next week where he'll be competing to be crowned the winner and perform at the Royal Variety Performance.

"I’d take my nana and granddad. For them to see me perform in front of the Royal Family would make their life!” Kyle told the ITV website of potentially winning.

Britain's Got Talent 2017 continues Saturday night on ITV with the last of the auditions.

The BGT live shows begin on Monday night with the final next Sunday, June 4.
