The Britain's Got Talent semi-finalists have been confirmed tonight but some surprising acts didn't make the cut.
This evening saw the four judges pick the top 40 contestants from all of the successful auditionees to make the live shows, joining the five golden buzzers who had guaranteed spots in the semi-finals.
There were plenty of arguments and clashes between the panel as they made the choices, eventually compromising on a line up that they all agreed on.
But who was NOT in the line up? Here are five of the more surprising omissions...
Singer Sian was too scared to apply for BGT herself - so her daughter ended up doing it for her.
The 31-year-old's nerves took another hit when Simon interrupted her performance, but she eventually won roaring applause singing Ghost track 'With You'.
"It was like watching a caterpillar turn into a butterfly," observed David.
TanBA came all the way from Japan to showcase his own style: dangerous magic.
He horrified the audience by swallowing countless razor blades - only to regurgitate them on a string.
"I've never seen anything like that in my life," said Simon, with David adding: "That was just the act that kept on giving,"
Coventry Dynamites are a squad of 24 cheerleaders, who promised "the sky's the limit" when it comes to their routines.
"I feel exhausted just watching it!" exclaimed David after the group's audition, while Simon added: "This is one of the best prepared acts we've seen on this show for a long time." Alesha described their skill level as "insanely impressive".
"Who doesn't like a bit of cheese?" asked David. Simon raised his hand, comparing them to a reformed band that had been "put in a food mixer".
The music mogul may have branded The Boyz "one of the worst things we've had", but they still made it through their audition - but not the live shows.
Angara Contortion are a team of four female contortionists who came from Russia with the hope of winning the "honour" to perform for the royal family.
Their awe-inspiring display culminated with them forming a human tower, while folding themselves in half backwards.
"You girls are not human! Unbelievable, that was a visual treat," said Alesha, while Amanda described them as "unworldly".
