Britain's Got Talent 2017: 8 year old Ned Woodman roasts the judges with "savage" insults

Ned Woodman.

8-year-old Ned Woodman shocks the Britain’s Got Talent 2017 judges tonight.

He started practicing comedy in front of his mum and dad about two years ago and has performed in front of his friends, family and his school.

The young comic takes to the BGT stage this evening with some risqué gags aimed at the judges.

In one joke, he compares Amanda Holden to a talking dog and in another, rubbishes Alesha Dixon’s dancing.

And even Ant and Dec don’t get let off as Ned roasts the Geordie duo along with the judges.

However everyone takes it in good humour, with Ant saying ahead of the series: "Ned was really funny. He roasted everyone with both barrels."

In the show this evening, David Walliams says: "I loved the way you took the mickey out of us, it was really quite savage."

Amanda added: "I think the way you delivered those jokes and your timing was brilliant."

"You look nice and sweet but you're very cheeky, and that's why I like you," Simon Cowell commented.

Other acts in tonight's show include magician Niels Harder from The Netherland, dancing PC Dan Graham, singing impressionist Jess Robinson and Paws with Soul, a pet dance troupe.

And in an opening episode that's full of variety, we meet Jim Fitzpatrick who is hedging his bets as he auditions for the panel with FOUR different acts while Strokes of Madness are hoping their mix of painting and dancing will impress the judges.

More contestants tonight are Richard Taylor and his unique mouth popping talent and the The Missing People Choir, who get the emotions going with original song “I Miss You”.

Britain’s Got Talent 2017 airs at 8PM tonight on ITV with the first auditions.

Straight after at 9:25PM you can tune in to Britain’s Got More Talent on ITV2 with Stephen Mulhern.
