Britain's Got Talent hosts Ant and Dec have reportedly won a battle over their bed time with Simon Cowell.
It's been reported that the Geordie duo now have a clause written into their contracts that means they can't be kept working into the early hours.
The Sun newspaper reports that the pair have an 11:30PM bed time while filming for Britain's Got Talent after boss Simon's erratic sleep schedule often saw auditions continue well into the night last series.
“Ant and Dec love doing the show but some of the finishes last year wore them out," a source claimed. “They work on a load of shows across the board for ITV so as part of their most recent deal they asked for a clause about late finishes."
The insider added “It’s the least they could do as they are the golden duo of telly and are well-loved by everyone. It means Simon has had a kick up the bum too. And he’s made it his personal resolution to be better with timekeeping.
“Being back on America’s Got Talent made him rethink his lateness too and he’s not missed a single deadline this year as a result.”
Last November saw Ant and Dec agree a new three year with ITV worth a reported £30 million which will see them stay as hosts of BGT, I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here and Saturday Night Takeaway until at least 2020.
The new series of Britain's Got Talent 2017 is expected to begin on ITV in April.
