Britain's Got Talent-winning dance crew Diversity are returning to ITV with their own primetime special.

'Diversity Steal The Show' will see the group spring several surprises and team up with celebrities for special collaborations.

These will culminate in a show-stopping finale featuring "the most entertaining amateur dancers" - one of whom will receive a prize.

Every element of the extravaganza will be choreographed by Diversity leader Ashley Banjo. "We can’t wait to start working with ITV on this show," he said.

"Not only do we get to create breathtaking performances and collaborations, but we also get to pull pranks, have fun and show that you don’t have to be a professional dancer to Steal The Show."

Siobhan Greene, ITV's Head of Entertainment, added: "Diversity are national treasures and it feels so good to bottle their talent by putting their infectious energy and spirit on the screen.

"With their help they will in turn give ITV viewers the opportunity to have the moment of a life time."

Diversity shot to fame when they beat Susan Boyle to win the third series of Britain's Got Talent in 2009.

Since then, they have embarked on several tours, released two DVDs and appeared in the hit film Streetdance 3D.

Ashley was a judge on Sky1's Got To Dance between 2000 and 2014. Rumours suggest he will also judge upcoming talent contest Dance Dance Dance.

Diversity Steal The Show will air on ITV "at the end of the year".
