The Great British Bake Off has become the most watched show of 2016.
After just one week.
The new series launched last Wednesday night to an audience of more than 10 million viewers overnight.
Now official consolidated figures - which take into account viewers who catch up in the seven days after airing - are out.
And they show a further 3 million viewers watched the episode after it aired, bringing its total audience to 13.6 million viewers.
Great British Bake Off took the lead from Britain’s Got Talent which has held it since April with a figure of 12.5 million viewers.
Both shows are also well above the summer's sporting events including the Rio 2016 Olympics and the Euro 2016 football matches.
Meanwhile, last night's second episode of the Great British Bake Off saw a small dip week-on-week.
'Only' 10.1 million viewers watched as the bakers crumbled in biscuit week, down 400,000 viewers on the opening episode last Wednesday.
The Great British Bake Off continues at 8PM, Wednesday nights, on BBC One.
