Britain's Got Talent dancers Boogie Storm have been signed by Simon Cowell.
The group of masked Stormtroopers went straight through to the live shows this year after winning Simon's golden buzzer.
The group ended up proving to be a bit of a marmite act with viewers: Some LOVED their performances while others described them as 'bad dancers in good costumes'.
Defending Boogie Storm last month, Simon said: “Look, you can argue there are other acts who deserve it a bit more but you are always in the moment when you do it and I am glad I did it because they are unique.
“I thought they were fun and I had never seen anything like it.”
Their first audition has since been viewed almost 30 MILLION views in just a month and they beat the likes of Beau Dermott and Jasmine Elcock to finish third in the final, just missing out on the £250,000 prize fund.
Speaking to the Liverpool Echo, the group's co-founder Lee Seddon revealed things had been moving fast since the live shows.
“Since the series ended we’ve signed with Syco, Simon Cowell’s label, and an agency called ROAR Global," he explained. "I think Simon saw the potential for a brand in us, and a massive following, and he stuck to his guns the whole way through the show and supported us.
"So, although we were actually third in the competition, to have him we’re winners aren’t we?"
Chatting the local newspaper, Lee continued: "All the way through, from the audition right through to the final, he believed in us. That means the world to us and it proves what a strong act we have.
"He kept telling us not to take our helmets off, wherever we were, because he knew that would be best for us. He didn’t want to break the illusion and it worked. Not even he knows who all the dancers are, the only ones he knows are me and [my fellow founder].”
Boogie Storm teased on Twitter recently that they're hoping to go on tour while right now they're doing a number of private gigs.
