The two wild cards on Britain's Got Talent 2016 have been revealed this afternoon.
It's the tenth series of Britain's Got Talent and after five nights of live shows and 45 semi final performances, the public and judges have made their decisions about which acts will have the opportunity to perform at the Live Final on Saturday 28th May.
Britain's Got Talent wildcard 2016: Public's choice
Trip Hazard has been revealed as the Public Wildcard, after winning the public vote, and will now perform in the Live Final on Saturday.
Lucy and her cute Maltese-Pomeranian cross, Trip Hazard, wowed the judges on last night's semi-final with a Beauty & The Beast inspired dance and trick routine. Their act received rave reviews from all of the judges but they narrowly missed out on going through to the finals after impressionist, Craig Ball took the top spot and singer, Jasmine Elcock was chosen by the judges.
On getting the wildcard and another chance to perform for the public, judges and potentially the Royal Family, Lucy said: "We are so thrilled and so thankful for the support and to have been selected as the Public Wildcard. We can't wait to get back on that stage and have the opportunity to hopefully make everyone smile again and show off more of what Trip can do!"
Britain's Got Talent wildcard 2016: Judges' choice
Judges, Simon, Amanda, Alesha and David, also had a Wildcard place to give away to the semi-finalist act who they thought deserved a place in the Final. They have awarded their Wildcard to ballet dancing couple, Shannon and Peter.
Husband and wife ballet dancers, Shannon and Peter, performed a captivating ballet dance on Monday night and wowed all four judges. They narrowly missed out on going through to the final, coming third place behind singer, Wayne Woodward and sword swallower, Alex Magala.
On being put through by the judges, the couple said: "We are more than ecstatic about being the Judges' Wildcard. We are also truly humbled and feel blessed to have their support and belief in us.There are no words to describe how much support we've had as well from the British public. This is the biggest thing that's ever happened to us and we want to make everyone proud!"
