The Deep Space Deviants became the first act to be BUZZED OFF the Britain's Got Talent 2016 semi-finals in tonight's live show.

The bonkers act, featuring Davros from Doctor Who and a mute policeman in a high-vis jacket, won a few chuckles at their audition with a performance of 'Love Shack'.

However, their medley tonight - featuring tracks including Maroon 5's 'Moves Like Jagger' - didn't do as well, with Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon quickly hitting their buzzers.

As they moved on to The Human League's 'Don't You Want Me', Simon Cowell and David Walliams also reached for their buttons, bringing the performance to an abrupt end.

Davros took the result in good humour, joking: "Are we through? Which one's the Queen?"

"She’s the one on the end down there!" Amanda joked, gesturing to David. "I thought that was bloody awful. Your audition was better, I think it’s gone downhill!"

Simon, the only judge who buzzed their original audition, said: "Without being rude, that was… I mean, beyond bad. It was the singing, the choice of songs… at least I said no the first time!"

Even David, who normally loves the joke acts, wasn't impressed. "We’ve had some rubbish over the show over the years, but that definitely beats all of them!" he laughed. "It was fun for the first few seconds."

Alesha did offer a little positive feedback, suggesting they should return to the show next year as a stand-up comedy act. "You’re funny and you make me laugh, but the act was awful," she said.

It's not all over for the Deep Space Deviants yet, as the public vote could send them through to Saturday's grand final. The results will be revealed in the second show at 9.30pm on ITV.
