Stephen Mulhern may finally get a Golden Buzzer on Britain's Got Talent next year - thanks to Amanda Holden!
Since 2014, each of the judges and main show hosts Ant and Dec have been able to press the Golden Buzzer during the auditions to send an act straight through to the live semi-finals.
However, Stephen - who fronts Britain's Got More Talent - has never had that privilege, and Alesha Dixon suggested it was time to change that during tonight's episode of the ITV2 spin-off.
During a discussion about this year's finalists, she said: "I think you should get a Golden Buzzer next year Stephen."
"I know you've been waiting for that, haven't you?" smirked Simon Cowell.
"Actually we've never spoke about this one-to-one - can I have a Golden Buzzer?" asked Stephen. "The reality is Ant and Dec are always on the left, I'm always on the right, I'm always there. I could come out and give it the biggest whack!"
Simon deferred the question to Amanda, who responded: "You dirty beast! I think yes, do you know what, I think yes. You deserve it."
The media mogul told his right-hand woman: "You're the boss, you made the decision."
"Get him to sign that bit of paper," Amanda instructed - and taking advantage of her new-found power, she added: "We're all coming back next year as well, can I just say. I've made the decision."
Somehow we don't think Stephen will actually get a Golden Buzzer, as we doubt Simon would trust him not to use it on serial auditionee and BGMT regular David Watson.
Last year's series he did have his own Silver Buzzer - although it was more unlucky than lucky for the recipient as it sent them straight to ITV2.
Britain's Got Talent airs its last semi-final of the series tomorrow at 7.30pm on ITV ahead of Saturday's grand final.
