Britain's Got Talent's Wayne Woodward was taken to hospital last night following his semi-final win.

The singer reportedly collapsed backstage at the BGT studios in London shortly after the live shows finished filming.

A paramedic car and later an ambulance blue-lighted to the scene to help the performer, who had topped the public vote.

Wayne was then taken to hospital for check ups, the Daily Mirror reports.

"Wayne fainted after the show last night and was seen by a medic on site," a source explained to the tabloid. "He was then taken to hospital as a precaution and is now resting at home."

Danny Dyer sound-a-like Wayne performed Frank Sinatra's That's Life during Monday night's live show to win a spot in this Saturday's grand finale after winning the most public votes.

Meanwhile, another of the show's confirmed finalists had a VERY different Monday.

Jamie Gilpin, who performed with his mum Mel on Sunday evening, has already had to return to school for exams.

The 16-year-old went from singing live in front of 10 million viewers to sitting an GCSE English literature exam in less than 24 hours.

Mel & Jamie join Wayne in the live final alongside sword swallower Alexandr Magala and choir 100 Voices of Gospel.

A further two acts will make it through in each of this evening's, Wednesday's and Thursday's semi-finals, while there will also be TWO wild cards: One picked by the judges and another voted for by the public.

The twelve finalists will go head to head Saturday night for a spot on the Royal Variety Performance and £250,000.
