Britain's Got Talent's Alex Magala will donate prize money to charity if he wins

Britain's Got Talent's Alex Magala says he'll donate the prize money if he wins the final tonight.

It turns out that the daredevil sword swallower spends his time inbetween death defying stunts saving animals, and reckons the £250,000 prize money will help that cause.

Alex told DigitalSpy he'd give the cash to the World Wildlife Fund if he manages to top the public vote this evening.

"Even if I don't have an animal act it doesn't mean that I don't care!" he explained this week. "I love animals and I think they need our support right now as never before, because our world is changing dramatically, especially over the last couple of decades.

"So I think that's important right now and it's important for me, and I will do everything."

Alex went on to say that putting his life on the line to help animals was "worth it".

"We're overpopulated, seven billion people… one guy less? It won't make much difference!" he remarked.

Meanwhile, Alex is planning to go all out with his final performance of the series tonight... if producers let him.

He teased: "I'm not sure about my next one, because I don't know if the production team will approve it and if they will allow me to do it, because it's another crazy idea."

The Britain's Got Talent 2016 live final airs tonight on ITV from 7:30PM.
