The Britain's Got Talent 2016 final will feature TWO wild card acts, it's been announced
This week sees the five live semi-final shows this week as nine acts take to the stage each night to perform for the public vote.
The act with the most votes will automatically go through to the live grand final. The two runner-up acts will then face the judges, Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams, who will pick their favourite to go through to the live final.
Up on yesterday evening's (Sunday) first show were Alesha Dixon's golden buzzer act 100 Voices of Gospel, crossbow act Ben Blaque and impressionist Darren Altman.
Joining them were singer Kathleen, singing mum and son Mel & Jamie and another singer, Richard Bayton.
Also performing for the public votes were gymnasts Spartans Resurrection, dance troupe Total TXS and ballroom performers Ystrad Fawr Dancers.
100 Voices of Gospel won the public vote to make the final alongside Mel & Jamie who beat Kathleen Jenkins in the runner up showdown.
However those that miss out in the semi-finals may get a second chance later on in the week.
After the fifth semi-final on Thursday evening, there will be a special public vote to pick a wild card act from the five 'losers' of the runner up vote offs.
The judges will also get to pick a second wild card act from any of the other semi-finalists, making for a total of twelve acts in the grand final next Saturday night, May 28.
For now, Britain's Got Talent continues LIVE on ITV every evening this week at 7:30PM on ITV.
