Tonight's Britain's Got Talent 2016 results: 100 Voices of Gospel and Mel and Jamie make the FINAL!

Who's through on Britain's Got Talent? Sunday's first semi-final results!

100 Voices of Gospel

100 Voices of Gospel and Mel and Jamie have made the Britain's Got Talent 2016 final in tonight's first semi-final results.

Ant and Dec revealed over a million votes had been cast this evening and announced the full results in reserve order.

The winner of the public vote and going straight through to the final was announced as 100 Voices of Gospel.

Mum and son singing duo Jamie and Mel and singer Kathleen Jenkins were in the top 3 and the judges had to decide between them.

David Walliams and Alesha Dixon backed Kathleen but Amanda Holden supported Mel and Jamie, leaving Simon Cowell with the casting vote.

He said he would let the public decide by voting for Mel and Jamie.

With the judges' votes tied, it went back to the public poll and with the most votes, Mel and Jamie joined 100 Voices of Gospel in the final on Saturday.

Tonight's Britain's Got Talent results

1. 100 Voices of Gospel

2. Jamie and Mel
3. Kathleen Jenkins

4. Darren Altman
5. Total TXS
6. Spartans Resurrection
7. Ben Blaque
8. Richard Bayton
9. Ystrad Fawr Dancers

Earlier the live performances were kicked off by all singing, all dancing Richard Bayton who managed to avoid getting buzzed by Simon Cowell.. but still got a slating from the judge.

Spartan Resurrection hit the stage next another impressive routine but the panel were left a little underwhelmed by the story.

Kathleen Jenkins was up afterwards, NAILING her vocals to replicate her first audition and stun the judges once again. Unfortunately the panel weren't as positive about Total TXS. Despite giving an energetic dance routine, Simon complained the choreography fell flat.

Ben Blaque's latest crossbow trick ran into problems as Alesha Dixon took to the stage to help out, but he still survived and walked away in one piece.

The judges were split over the next act, Welsh ballroom dancers Ystrad Fawr Dancers, with Simon branding their performance "lazy" which prompted David Walliams to tell him to get up on stage to do better.

Mum and son singing duo Mel and Jamie performed The Climb to unanimous praise from the judges whereas impressionist Darren Altman was branded "TERRIBLE" by Simon.

Fortunately the show ended on a high thanks to 100 Voices of Gospel with David saying that they had the potential to win the whole competition.

The acts on tomorrow night's (Monday) live show are Alexandr Magala, Another Kind of Blue, The Garnett Family, Ian & Anne Marshall, Mythical PSM, Rachael Wooding, Shannon & Peter, Vitaly Voronko and Wayne Woodward.

The Britain's Got Talent 2016 live shows air from 7:30PM every night this week before the grand final on Saturday evening.
