Ferne McCann wants to host I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Now

Ferne McCann is more than up for hosting I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Now this year.

Former host Laura Whitmore left the ITV2 spin-off show earlier this year after five series.

She said: "After five incredible series working with my extended I'm A Celeb family, I've taken the tough decision to hang up my jungle boots. It's been such a wonderful experience but I feel it's time to move on.

"I wish the team well and look forward to tuning in later this year as well as continuing to work with ITV on other shows."

So could last year's I'm A Celebrity finalist Ferne takeover?

Speaking to Daily Star, she said this week: "I'd love to do it because I'm a massive fan of the show. To be out there in Australia would be an incredible gig. It would be cool."

She added: "But Laura's boots are definitely big ones to fill. She did a great job. So of course I'd be nervous."

However it may well be that Ferne will be too busy with new MOVIE role.

She told Digital Spy recently: "I can't say too much about the film but it did come out of Cannes.

"I was at the film festival and it was really successful. I have been offered a film role but I don't know who the rest of the cast are.

"I'm going out to LA to do some filming in July. I'm really excited about learning the craft and working hard at that."

Other names linked to I'm A Celebrity's spin-off show include reigning Queen of the jungle Vicky Pattison as well as former host Caroline Flack.

The ITV2 series will return alongside the main show on ITV, hosted by Ant and Dec, later this year.
