Britain's Got Talent's Ana & Fia say the hope to be an inspiration to other women.
The mother and daughter act moved the judges with their powerful performance of Barbra Streisand's Tell Him at the weekend.
Originally from Indonesia, full time mum Ana, A-level student Fia and Fia’s brother Afi moved to the UK in 2011 and they now live in Essex.
On stage, Ana told the judges she was hoping for a fresh start after a difficult time in her marriage.
She and daughter Fia went on to stun the panel as they sung together, getting a full standing ovation from all of Alesha Dixon, David Walliams, Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden.
"It's just wonderful to see you up there and see you take courage and strength," commented Amanda Holden. "I just want the best for you, there is a place for you in this competition."
This morning the family act appeared on ITV's Lorraine to chat about the show.
Fia said that winning the competition would be "too many dreams to think of," while mum Ana revealed: "I would like to be a big inspiration."
Speaking about the tough time in her life, Ana added candidly: "It was very hard, we're very happy now and we're moving on"
Fia, who currently works in a Burger King, went on to say: "I'm just trying to take the burden off my mum's shoulders, I'm proud to have a mum like that."
The pair are through to the next stage of the competition but will have to wait until the deliberation day this Saturday to find out if they've made it into the live shows.
Britain's Got Talent continues this weekend on Saturday AND Sunday.
