Father and daughter pole performers freak out the Britain's Got Talent judges

BGT pole performers

A duo of 'pole dancers' shock the Britain's Got Talent judges tonight when they reveal they're father and daughter.

Act Vertical Daze is made up of Dave (51) and Hazel (25), a father and daughter pole acrobatic duo from Swindon.

"The best bit about performing together is I get to share it with my dad," says Hazel, "Because we have a trusting relationship, it makes the act work."

After revealing their relationship to the judges, Simon Cowell instantly remarks: "And that's a pole? Right..."

"This is already the weirdest thing I have seen and it hasn't started yet," adds David Walliams.

"Family pole dancing?!" reacts Amanda Holden.

Vertical Daze go on to perform their act, which is a unique telling of Peter Pan.

Another family affair on the show tonight are ballet dancers Shannon and Peter. The married couple, who have their son watching in the audience, have been together for 20 years.

Britain's Got Talent 2016 airs tonight at 8PM on ITV.
