Ben Blaque on Britain's Got Talent puts his and Simon Cowell's lives on the line with crossbow trick

Ben Blaque invited Simon Cowell to be a part of his act on Britain's Got Talent 2016 this weekend.

And while Simon accepted, it seemed as though he quickly had second thoughts.

The music mogul took to the stage and risked his life assisting Ben with his crossbow act, as the BGT hopeful also put his own life in danger with the shocking audition.

"Are you sure about this?" queried a nervous Simon as Ben explained the trick.

Some six crossbows had been set up on stage ready to go off in a chain reaction, with the last one pointing at Ben's head which had an apple on top.

Ben explained that he needed Simon's help, as the daredevil put on a blindfold to fire one more cross bow to set off the others.

Simon had to ring a bell and help Ben hit the target, else it would be the music mogul himself who would end up with an arrow in him.

Amanda Holden was clearly nervous for Simon as Ben lined up to take the trick shot, but it fortunately went off without a hitch.

"You are nuts," Simon told Ben as the American contestant got four yeses into the next round.

We can only imagine what Ben has planned if he makes it to the live semi-final shows next month!

Other acts on Britain's Got Talent this weekend included Vox Fortis, a vocal group that impresses the judges and audience with their rousing audition, and 14-year-old singer Jasmine Elcock.

Britain's Got Talent 2016 auditions continue Saturday nights on ITV.

Also be sure to tune in to Britain's Got More Talent on ITV2 straight afterwards with star of stage and screen, Stephen Mulhern.
