More than 40 viewers complained over Britain's Got Talent sword swallower Alexandr Magala.
Alexandr shocked the Britain's Got Talent judges with his routine in the opening audition show of this year's series, doing all sorts of tricks with a sword down his throat.
The finale saw the daredevil slide down a pole face first before stopping just before hitting the ground.
A total of 33 viewers made objections to TV Watchdog Ofcom over the scenes and a further 10 to ITV directly.
But Ofcom today dismissed the complaints.
“We assessed a number of complaints about a sword-swallowing act in this popular ITV programme, but will not be taking the matter forward for investigation,” said an Ofcom spokesman.
“The repeated warnings and clear references to the inherent danger of the act meant it was very unlikely that audiences would attempt to copy it. Also we found the content was in line with audience expectations.”
Ofcom however should get ready to staff the phone lines again because Alexandr has promised an even more shocking performance for the live shows later this year, if he makes it into the semi-final stages.
He teased: "If I get to the Semi-Finals, I really want to show my new trick! I’m not even sure it’s possible but I’m really trying to deliver something new that audiences have never seen before.
"I’ve never tried this trick before so right now, I’m in the process of rehearsing so I can present it to Britain’s Got Talent audiences and to the Judges."
For now, Britain's Got Talent continues with the latest auditions on this Saturday night on ITV.
