The Britain's Got Talent 2016 live shows are reportedly set to begin on May 22.
Although the dates for this year's semi-finals have yet to be officially confirmed by ITV, the Daily Mirror reports that we should expect them to come sooner than we might otherwise expect.
According to the newspaper, the first semi-final will air on Sunday, May 22 and then continue every night until Thursday, May 26.
There will then be a day's break on the Friday before the grand final on Saturday, May 28.
Again, these dates have yet be confirmed by ITV and the official dates for the BGT 2016 semi-finals won't be announced for a few weeks yet.
However if the the start date is correct it means that the live semi-final shows will be a week earlier than usual, missing the bank holiday half-term they usually air across.
Right now of course the live shows are still a long way off with just two audition episodes having aired so far.
Currently only a pair of acts are confirmed for the semi-finals: Golden buzzer contestants 100 Voices of Gospel and Beau Dermott, who have got Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden's backing respectively.
The rest of the acts who have got through will have to wait until the tense deliberation day after all of the auditions as the judges pick who else will make the live shows.
Based on past years, 45 acts will make it into the live stage with nine performing every night. Two will go through each evening to leave 10 acts fighting for victory in the final.
Once again this year up for grabs is a £250,000 cash prize and a spot on the Royal Variety Performance in December.
