The Britain's Got Talent 2016 auditions continued last night with a massive figure of more than 10.3 million viewers.

An average audience of 10.32 million tuned in to the second audition episode between 8PM and 9:20PM

It was up a huge 1.2 million viewers on last weekend's opener, which had clashed with the final of The Voice UK on BBC One.

The figure is also up on last year's equivalent number, with 10.1 million having tuned in back in 2015, and is up a million viewers on 2014.

The show peaked with 11.6 million viewers as another array of acts auditioned for the judges.

The numbers immediately make Britain's Got Talent one of the year's most watched shows so far, just two episodes in to the new series.

Elsewhere last night and over on BBC One, Michael McIntyre's Big Show started with 4.9 million viewers.

Meanwhile back on ITV, Play To The Whistle returned with 3.2 million, the same figure new game show Bang On The Money started with.
