Britain's Got Talent bosses have rubbished stories branding 12-year-old Beau Dermott a 'cheat'.
The youngster found herself being picked on by some tabloid reports this week following her amazing audition at the weekend.
It's over claims that she was 'hiding' her experience at a stage school and implied her nerves weren't real.
A spokesperson for Britain's Got Talent however responded strongly to the report.
He said: “This story is ridiculous. Beau had singing lessons once a month for the past four years at Stage Pro Academy. Just because she has had singing lessons, it doesn’t mean that she doesn’t get nervous when performing as was stated on the show"
The spokesman added: “Adele, who is the biggest selling artist in the world, suffers from nerves when performing, so it’s not surprising to think that Beau would as well, especially given that she is a 12-year-old schoolgirl.”
Despite the nerves and still being in school, Beau wowed the judges in Saturday night's opening show after singing and had Amanda Holden pressing the golden buzzer.
Beau belted out out Wicked's Defying Gravity to stun the panel and live audience.
"Oh my God, you were so, so, so amazing. I am so excited for you, you were brilliant," gushed Amanda after hitting the golden buzzer, sending Beau straight through to the live shows.
"We were not expecting that," declared Simon Cowell. "That's how you do it."
"Everyone else might as well go home, you're incredible," concluded David Walliams.
Since the audition aired, Beau's performance has been watched almost a million times a DAY with 3 million hits on YouTube since the weekend.
Britain's Got Talent continues Saturday night on ITV.
