David Walliams took Simon Cowell's advice to be 'more like him' a little too literally yesterday.
The comic arrived on the red carpet at this year's Britain's Got Talent launch channeling Simon in very way.
Which turned out to be a good thing with Simon missing the event to be in in the States for American Idol.
The other judges took full advantage of Simon's absence, with David quipping that the music mogul had become nicer this series because "he's having regular sex".
David also commented on the 'sexual tension' between himself and Simon, joking: "It will be released at some point.
"It's ten years of the show and I think the final episode, I think that's what the viewers would like to see."
However Simon did get his own back in a video message, claiming he needed some time away from David after three weeks on the road filming the auditions.
"And just to be remind you, I'm on the British show and American show, but David's just on the British show," he added.

This year is Britain's Got Talent's tenth series and it's the fifth year that David and Simon have been on the panel together, alongside Alesha Dixon and David Walliams.
It's a panel that's worked well in the past and continues to do so this year, with perhaps one of the show's best ever episodes this Saturday night.
Britain's Got Talent begins at 7PM on ITV.
