Singers and dancers are being tipped to once again dominate Britain's Got Talent this year.
With at least THREE of the golden buzzers musical acts, bookies have made them the favourite to win the tenth series.
However animal acts are expected to flop this year.
Britain’s Got Talent is back on Saturday the 9th April and with just a couple of days to wait before the auditions get underway, bookmakers BoyleSports are tipping the singers to reign supreme in 2016.
It’s the tenth year of the popular talent show and singers have had the most success on the show winning it a total of three times so far. This total is expected to grow this year as a solo singer to win is the 5/2 favourite.
Dance acts are undoubtedly another favourite on the show with George Sampson and Diversity winning the show back in 2008 and 2009 and are a close second in the betting at 3/1.
Singers continue their hold in the betting as a singing group or choir is third in line for the BGT title at 4/1.
Magicians have come close, but none have succeeded in clinching the title, however this year could be the year if their trickery works at 5/1 to win.
An animal or pet act like reigning champions Jules O’Dwyer and Matisse or 2012 winners Ashleigh and Pudsey can be backed at 12/1 with a comedian to laugh their way to the title available at 16/1.
Acts that may struggle are Acrobatic acts (20/1), Impressionists (25/1), Shadow Theatre Groups (33/1), similar to 2013 winners Attraction, and Puppet acts which are on offer at 50/1.
More obscure acts such as a Knife Thrower, Mime Act or even a Stripper are all 100/1 shots.
Aoife Heffron, PR Executive for BoyleSports commented: “Britain’s Got Talent has always produced fantastic singers and as the category currently holds the lead for the most wins throughout the nine series it is edging favouritism at 5/2 that another singer can win our hearts with their dulcet tones.”
She added “Dancers are another fan favourite on the show and have already seen some interest from punters at 3/1 to take the title this year. Animal acts have proven popular in recent years but unfortunately for Ashleigh and Pudsey and Jules and Matisse fans another animal act winner is the bigger price of 25/1.”
