Britain's Got Talent 2016 judges

Britain's Got Talent is BACK! But when? Who's judging? What's all this golden buzzer nonsense? Don't worry, we've got ALL you need to know about the new series.

When is Britain's Got Talent 2016 on tonight?

The Britain's Got Talent 2016 start date has been confirmed as April 9, airing from 7PM. Britain's Got More Talent will air straight after on ITV2 from 8:30PM providing us with over 2 hours of BGT goodness.

Who are this year's BGT judges?

For the fifth year in a row, the Britain's Got Talent judges are staying the same with Amanda Holden, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden all back on the panel, hurrah!

And the hosts?

Ant and Dec will of course be back watching on from the sidelines while Stephen Mulhern is also returning to front ITV2 spin-off show More Talent.

Any twists?

Funny you should ask! This year's Britain's Got Talent 2016 auditions again see the golden buzzer: Sat in the middle of the judges' desk, when pressed the golden buzzer will see the act on stage sent straight through to the live shows. The catch is that each judge can only press the buzzer once during the whole of the auditions.

In addition, there's set to be an extra special 'prize' for the winner in addition to the £250,000 in cash and a spot on the Royal Variety Performance.

“Simon has something up his sleeve and he hasn’t told any of us,” Alesha said. “Apparently whoever wins is getting something very special this year in addition to the prize money. “

"We are all making guesses. Are they going to get their own show? Are they going to get a special guest come on with them?”

How's about some BGT spoilers?

Obviously we'd be shot (probably) if we gave anyway too much but there are some titbits: Acts have included a tortoise, a one man band on stilts, archery with a difference and a magician smashing phones - including Simon Cowell's.

There's also a SHOCKING sword swallower and - to quote Amanda Holden - "a lot of flesh".

Other weird performances have included a DANCING POLAR BEAR with Alesha saying: "It didn’t go down too well with me but everyone else loved them. I don’t know what my problem was that day but I wasn’t feeling it."
