Simon Cowell and David Walliams' BGT rows turn personal

Simon-Cowell cry

Simon Cowell and David Walliams’ Britain’s Got Talent rowing has reportedly turned personal.

The bickering pair’s jibes at one another have become a staple part of the show, but this year things apparently went up a notch in filming.

According to Amanda Holden, it all got very real between the two when Simon mentioned David’s recent divorce.

“David made it personal [first],” Amanda claimed, “He dares it and Simon comes straight back in at him, and the joke ends there because he can always top David.

"He’s out-funnied David a lot this series. David is very p***ed off, actually."

Meanwhile in a chat with The Sun newspaper, Simon has said that he was hoping to fix David up with a new woman.

The BGT boss told the tabloid: “It might be a little bit early. When he gives me the nod, I would be very, very, very happy to fix him up.”

Simon then quipped: “I need to find someone with very, very bad eyesight and then we’d start from there.”

Britain's Got Talent is back this Saturday night on ITV with its opening episode of auditions.
