Britain's Got Talent 2016 bosses were forced to recruit another guest judge to stand in for Simon Cowell during the recent auditions - David Walliams's MUM.
Show hosts Ant and Dec and X Factor stalwart Louis Walsh have filled the media mogul's chair in previous years after he missed filming due to illness.
But while he wasn't unwell this time, Simon was apparently so late for one session for the upcoming tenth series that bosses asked Mummy Walliams, a.k.a. Kathleen Williams, to join the panel as a last-minute replacement.
In an interview with Heat magazine, David revealed: "[Simon] didn't come until 8pm so my mum took over. She happened to be there that day, so the producers asked if she could step in to fill Simon's place. She was up on that judging panel like a rocket!
"Weirdly the audience didn't notice Simon was gone because they're both so similar. I kept calling her 'Mother' throughout in a really creepy way, like I was Norman Bates."
And it seems Simon should be worried, as Kathleen had no problems stepping in to his role as Mr. Nasty.
"She was great and she wasn't afraid to use the buzzer," the comedian added. "Sometimes guest judges are too afraid of using the buzzer, because they don't want to be horrible to the acts. But she used it quite a lot."
Perhaps she could take over from Grimmy on The X Factor?
Simon is notorious for his tardiness, having apparently turned up two hours late for filming in 2012 because he was having a bath.
Britain's Got Talent is due to return to ITV early next month for its tenth anniversary series, with Simon apparently planning a big surprise for the winner.
