David Walliams has given some teasers about his golden buzzer act on Britain's Got Talent this year.
Currently the mystery act he backed hasn't been revealed but David has given us some hints about what we can expect from what sounds like another eccentric novelty act.
“I picked this wonderful lady who was a musician,” he explained recently “She’s got a keyboard on an ironing board and she sang a song about a crumble, as in the food.
"Simon buzzed her within about three seconds, but the audience really loved her and I really loved her. I thought she was funny, so I am really glad I pressed my buzzer for her.”
David added: “Simon didn’t like her, he didn’t really get her, but then he doesn’t really like comedy.”
He went on: “So he didn’t like my Golden Buzzer but that’s OK because she’s going to be in the live shows anyway and I think she’s got a very good chance of getting in the final because she’s genuinely really funny and talented.
“She’s a British eccentric, she’s half way between Miranda Hart and Victoria Wood, she’s got that lovely warm sensibility about her.”
But while Simon Cowell isn't a fan Alesha Dixon has backed David's choice.
She said: "She''s actually hysterical. I said no to David's golden buzzer act and then changed my mind halfway through, she won me over because she's really funny."
Britain's Got Talent 2015 continues this Saturday night at 8PM on ITV.
