Britain's Got Talent dancing dads Old Men Grooving have revealed they had plans to STRIP for their act.
The four guys decided to cut that part out of their audition just before going in front of the judges, but it could make a comeback for the live shows.
“It was another idea, but the stripping plan didn’t work out in the end,” they revealed this week. "We were thinking about going on the show for a while but weren’t sure if the public would like our dancing.”
Old Men Grooving is made up of Patrick, Fred, Phil, David and Bret who have explained how they all met when auditioning as extras for a Sainsbury's advert.
"We all have day jobs, but we trained and danced when we were younger," they explained. "We all had a laugh at the audition and decided to keep meeting up. I've got a dance studio where I teach kids, so we'd meet up once a week and get a pizza and have a dance!"
On Saturday night the group got four yeses from the judges and huge cheers and support from the live crowd.
"We couldn't believe the reaction of the crowd," they told the official BGT website. "When we finished I turned around and saw Simon clapping and standing up - it was a bit of a dream."
As for the live shows, could stripping return to form part of their routine?
They tease: "If we get through we definitely have a few more tricks up our sleeves. We can't reveal too much, but our dream is to get dads all over the country joining in!
"They'll be no more pizza for a while!"
