Revelation Avenue Singers have vowed to 'step it up' in the Britain's Got Talent 2015 live shows.
The 12 piece gospel choir from East London wowed the BGT judges this weekend with a performance of Katy Perry's Roar.
"I loved that!" exclaimed Amanda Holden after the group finished their performance as she hit the golden buzzer, sending the group straight through to the semi-finals. "What I loved I think was the sense of heart and relationship, the togetherness, just magnificent, it was brilliant!"
David Walliams added: "It's like you're all stars, you could probably all be solo singers yet you work perfectly together."
Speaking after the show aired, the group confessed: "It was nothing like we expected… We said we’d give it a try, but really we might not even get through.
"We were definitely nervous but I think that’s what gave us a good performance at the end of the day, all those nerves building… and then we went out there and just had to tear it apart really!"
Now with golden buzzer status the singers are hard at work planning for the semi-finals later this year.
"To get the golden buzzer is absolutely amazing, we’re just really excited and roaring to go," they teased. "Now we really have to step it up and that pressure is pushing us to do even better."
The group join fellow golden buzzer performers Calum Scott and Boyband in the next round.
The Britain's Got Talent 2015 auditions continue next weekend on ITV.
