Britain's Got Talent 2015 hosts Ant and Dec have insisted that hypnotising dog Princess is NOT fake.
This weekend's show saw Krystyna and her German spitz Princess leave the judges speechless after the so-called Hypondog put Ant and Dec and members of the audience to sleep.
Princess even had an effect on Simon Cowell, eventually leaving him asleep at the judges' desk.
However Ant and Dec have admitted that what we saw on the telly was edited down quite a bit compared to what actually went on.
While we saw the Geordie duo seemingly spontaneously invited on stage from the sidelines, they actually spent around half an hour before the audition with Krystyna and Princess.
Dec explained: "We had to go and spend a bit of time with the dog beforehand, about half an hour so that it could do it’s thing and work on us."
But the pair are convinced that the act was real.
"It was a bit odd really because the dog made us forget the number seven. For everything else we were perfectly all right apart from when we tried to recall the number seven," Dec recalled. "When we were with the dog before we were like, ‘We’re really not hypnotised, it definitely hasn’t worked because we feel completely normal’.
"The next thing we couldn’t recall the number seven, it just wouldn’t come out of our mouths, so it definitely did something."
Ant added: "I have been hypnotised before, years ago, so it seems to work."
Meanwhile, Simon has dismissed the idea that the stunt was faked to make for good telly.
He said it was "100% real", saying: "I was feeling sleepy and then fell asleep. It's almost like your brain tells you to do something which you shouldn't be doing but you just go along with it. The next thing is, you've actually fallen asleep."
The Britain's Got Talent 2015 auditions continue next weekend on ITV.
