Britain's Got Talent's Jonathan Antoine is set to release his debut album later this year.
The 19 year old tenor burst onto our screens back in 2012 and became a worldwide sensation after his remarkable BGT audition.
This solo album follows two previous successful records with former singing partner, Charlotte Jaconelli, who Jonathan had performed with on BGT.
The pair have now gone their separate ways with Charlotte having put out her own solo album earlier this year.
Jonathan said: “We had a most amazing journey together, but the time is right now to explore different musical paths. We’re very happy for each other”, he remarks with his customary generosity.
His debut album - ‘Tenore’ - will be released on October 13th on Sony Classical and has been produced by multi-Grammy nominated music producer, Anna Barry, famous for her work with Andrea Bocelli, Jose Carreras, the Kirov Opera and Andrew Lloyd Webber, to name but a few.
Of some of the songs on his debut solo effort, Jonathan added: “I have chosen ‘La donna e mobile’ from Verdi’s Rigoletto as the opera is such huge fun! I was first introduced to it by Sara Reynolds, my teacher from The Junior Royal Academy Of Music, so it has wonderful associations for me."
He concluded: “There’s only one way to express what music gives me. It gives me a purpose. It gives me point. When I sing, I can just be me."
