Britain's Got Talent duo Bars and Melody are on course for the Top 3, but there's bad news for Leah McFall.
Bars & Melody, who reached the final of this year's ITV series, are heading for their first UK Top 40 hit this weekend with their debut single Hopeful.
The pair - made up of 13-year-old Leondre Devries and 15-year-old Charlie Lenehan reached third place and quickly penned a record deal with Simon Cowell’s Syco label.
Bars and Melody's Hopeful is a cover of a 2005 song by Twista and Faith Evans of the same name, with the original having reached Number 25 in the charts.
Elsewhere in today's midweek charts, The Voice UK runner up Leah McFall is struggling.
She's finally got around to releasing her debut single this week, some 18 months after first appearing on the BBC One series.
Her track Home - which features former coach on the show Will.i.am - is however on course to miss the top 40.
The song has only just scraped into the charts in today's Official Chart Update at Number 37.
It means it's unlikely that the song will be able to hang on and stick in the Top 40 come Sunday evening.
