BGT 2014 star Paddy Jones will get a personal doctor on set for tomorrow night's final.
The salsa dancing gran and her dance partner Nico will be performing live for a spot in the Royal Variety Show and a £250,000 prize.
Paddy had originally been ruled out of the semi-finals but performed anyway against the advice of doctors.
“I am not 100 per cent better and am still in a bit of pain but Nico is adapting the routine so he doesn’t hurt me when he lifts me," she revealed today. “One doctor in Spain told me not to dance for a month, while another said no dancing ever.
"But my doctor here is coming to the studio with me."
Paddy added: “During the semi-final I did a turn and I was extremely dizzy and I have a problem in my ear. But we are being careful and now I can’t wait for the final.”
In an interview with The Sun newspaper, Paddy went on to confess that she was thinking about finally hanging up her dancing shoes when she turns 80 next month.
She explained: “I celebrate my 80th birthday in July. I want to get home and get back to normal. Over the past month, I thought: ‘Get to 80 then tone it down.’ Then things went quite mad.
“But I have to be realistic and getting older I can’t do the things I did nine years ago — the things Nico wants me to do I can’t do any more.”
The BGT 2014 final airs from 7PM on ITV from Saturday, June 7.
