Britain's Got Talent 2014 comic Toju Okorodudu has aplogised for making apparently offensive jokes he's told in the past.

Despite being a stand up and impressionist, it seems that not every approves of Toju's thoughts on funny which has included gags about disability.

The 40-year-old was backed by Ant and Dec as their golden buzzer act but newspapers later revealed his less family friendly content.

Toju said: “Routines I performed in the past have been for an adult audience.

"I appreciate some may have found the content offensive. I’m sorry for any offence caused.”

Tonight will see Toju performing live for the public vote, going up against eight other acts in the fourth live semi-final.

He'll be facing off against the likes of Simon Cowell's golden buzzer act Bars and Melody, musician Lettice Rowbotham and the Innova Irish Dance Company.
