Earlier tonight we saw the third set of nine acts do their thing for the judges' and us viewers.
There were dance troupe Cartel, burlesque performers Crazy Rouge and fashion designer Brian Chan, ventriloquist Sam Jones and dance trio Yanis Marshall, Arnaud And Medhi amongst the contestants competing for a place in the final.
They were up against singers Kitty & Rosie, Elis Chicken, Lucy Kay and Alesha Dixon's golden buzzer act Reaformed.
After all had performed live the lines opened for 30 minutes but closed in tonight's results show, which saw a special guest appearance from The Vamps.
In the nerve wrecking results announcement, hosts Ant and Dec first announced that with the most votes, opera singer Lucy Kay had won a guaranteed spot in the live final.
They then announced that dance groups Cartel and Yanis Marshall, Arnaud And Medhi had received the next most votes from the public and that the judges would decide which would be joining Lucy in the final.
David Walliams voted: "Two brilliant but different dance acts... I love Cartel but I cannot say no to three Frenchmen in high heels!"
Alesha Dixon agreed: "Yanis, you were faultless, I have to go with who gave the slickest performance and that was Yanis."
Amanda Holden however backed Cartel, leaving Simon Cowell to decide. He said: "Even though I have my issues with Cartel, there's something about you... my heart goes with Cartel."
With the judges' votes tied, the decision went back to the public vote where it was revealed that Yanis Marshall & co had the most votes.
As a result, the trio of heeled Frenchmen joined Lucy, The Addict Initiative, James Smith, Collabro and Darcy Oake in the final.
