James Smith wowed on tonight's Britain's Got Talent 2014 semi-final but the Kony Puppets became the first act in the live shows to be buzzed off.
Girl group Mini Moves were first out and started the show with a bang as they put on an upbeat dance routine to a medley of Little Mix tracks, winning praise from all of the judges.
Song-writer and singer Ed Drewett took his second step out of the shadows as he performed a own song Blink. The reprisal however didn't impress Simon Cowell who said he wanted to hear something different.
Ed was followed by something completely different as cameras went outside for the Bolddog FMX Team who shocked with more daring flips and tricks in the air on their bikes, all surrounded by fire.
Next, musical theatre singer Jodi Bird belted out Let It Go from Frozen and hit all the big notes despite being JUST SIXTEEN.
The singing continued after the break with Essex girl group SweetChix who entered onto the stage on a huge sign sporting their name, singing Taylor Swift's Trouble. Simon however wasn't sure about the song, styling, choreography... basically, everything.
Comic Ricky K took to the stage next with a similar routine to his audition but was buzzed by Simon who complained: "Second time around, I didn't think the script was as funny, it just wasn't my cup of tea."
The refreshingly evil Addict Initiative were next up and put on a dark Snow White themed performance which was branded "incredible" by Simon and compared to past winners Diversity.
There was unfortunately an entirely different reaction to Kony Puppets who got all FOUR buzzers from the judges as Simon quipped: "Am I allowed to say it was crap?" Polish Kony didn't seem too upset however as he gushed about just being on the stage.
Closing the show was Essex lad James Smith who wowed the judges with a cover of Gnarls Barkley's Crazy to get a standing ovation from David Walliams while Alesha gushed: "You are super, super talented. You've just got it!"
