It was a real mixed bag on tonight's Britain's Got Talent 2014 semi-final.
18-strong CountryVive kicked things off and their upbeat routine to Kesha's Timber had Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden dancing in their seats but Simon Cowell blasted it as being a "mess". He added: "You're going to need a miracle to get through."
Singer Micky Dumoulin was next who turned club classic Don't You Worry Child into a ballad causing Simon to quip: "Unlike David, you have the likeability factor!"
12-year-old dance duo Lauren and Terrell took to the stage after, with an exhausting routine that Simon claimed was an improvement since their audition and "much better" than the previous two acts.
Patsy May had a troupe of dancers and her name up in lights as she sung All That Jazz for her live performance although it wasn't quite enough of the 'darker Patsy' for Amanda!
Henrietta Adewole sung Stay as she fought for a spot in the final but Alesha Dixon felt it was a "dated" performance that "didn't work".
Jon Clegg impressionist put on his own show with takes on the likes of John Bishop, Paddy McGuinness, Compare the Meerkat and hosts Ant and Dec.
Magician Darcy Oake put on a show of "pure illusion" as he disappeared under a blanket before revealing himself to be one of the show's cameraman who had been filming the trick all along, melting our minds completely.
David Walliams' golden buzzer act Christian Spridon was next and got the only buzzer of this evening as Simon Alesha blasted the singer's cover of It's Raining Men, but the real fight on the panel was between David and Alesha. A quip about Alesha's "miming" from David saw her pour a glass of water over his head, to a clap from Simon!
Closing the show were Collabro who sung another Les Mis track, this time Bring Him Home and it got a similar reaction as their audition as Amanda claimed they were on course to be this year's winners.
