Daughter of Kym Marsh Emily Cunliffe has had her Britain's Got Talent 2014 audition cut.

The 16-year-old sung for the panel at try outs in Manchester earlier this year.

Corrie star Kym is no stranger to reality telly having found fame herself on Popstars over a decade ago, joining manufactured group Hear'Say.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Kym was on hand to cheer on her daughter at the try outs as Emily sung for the judges, having previously performed at concerts and even alongside her mum .

There was no Simon Cowell at the auditions with the music mogul absent due to illness, leaving Emily singing Norah Jones' I Don’t Know Why for Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon.

David was quoted as telling Emily she was "so brave" to put herself out onto the stage while Alesha quipped: "You've had a fantastic teacher then, in your mum."

A Britain's Got Talent insider added to The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "Kym knows what it takes to go all the way. Emily has a great chance and a good mentor."

However it's now been revealed that Emily's audition has been cut from the show and she has not made the BGT 2014 semi-finals.

According to the Daily Mirror newspaper, Kym is understandably "gutted".

And then some, we expect.

Britain's Got Talent airs tomorrow night on ITV.
