BGT 2014 producers 'begged' pole dancer Emma Haslam to audition

Emma Haslam (Britain's Got Talent 2014)

BGT producers apparently begged pole dancer Emma Haslam to audition to for the series.

Last we saw the athletic 27 year old on stage as she went on to try and promote pole fitness for all sizes.

And she certainly did that as she became the latest to impresses the panel with an energetic pole dancing routine to win four yeses into the next round.

Amanda Holden told her: “For you to get up there and have such good body confidence is a massive example for girls all over this country.”

And Alesha Dixon agreed: “I don’t care what size you are, you are brilliant at what you do!”

But now Emma's revealed she only ever appeared on the show after being invited on and was fast tracked straight to the judges' rounds.

“It was crazy," she told The Sun newspaper this weekend. "They explained they had seen the video of me pole-dancing online and wanted me to come straight to the judges.”

Emma added: “I was more nervous about speaking to the judges than anything else. But Simon was wowed and said I was really good."

BGT 2014 continues next weekend on ITV.
