Britain's Got Talent hosts Ant and Dec have confessed they found turning their talents to judging hard work.
The pair sat on the panel this year for the first time at auditions in Manchester after Simon Cowell missed try outs due to illness.
Despite having fronted the show for seven years now the pair admitted they found moving from the side of the stage to behind the judges' desk tough.
Ant said this week: "It was hard. It's not nice being nasty. Obviously Dec and I can never believe it when the judges buzz, but now having sat in the chair I can understand the pain they're in sometimes when you're sat there judging people.
"I did end up buzzing one comedian as he just rambled on."
Partner in crime Dec added: "It was really hard because we'd been talking to all the acts backstage and we were on their side, so to go and sit at the judges' desk and then to hit the buzzer was tough.
"You end up immediately apologising to the act and saying, 'I'm really sorry'. We've got a newfound respect for the judges as it is tough. I don't think we'll be rushing back to be judges any time soon!"
We'll see Ant and Dec in action later this month but for now the auditions kick off on Saturday night on ITV from 7:15PM.
